The One When The Book Repeats Itself… Again

This book is beginning to turn into one of those old people that repeat themselves.

This book is beginning to turn into one of those old people that repeat themselves.

This book is, oh…

Hey!

I recently announced that I was bringing back the Book of Questions series in which I answer questions from the 1987 and 2013 Book of Questions by Gregory Stock PH.D! If you’d like to find out more about this series or catch up on posts from the series that you’ve missed then please click here!

In this post I’m going to be answering question 44 from the 2013 Book of Questions!

The question is…

If you could kill people simply by imagining their deaths and saying the word “good-bye,” would you use the power? Assume they’d die a natural death and no one would suspect you.

This is the second time in less than a week that a question that was in the 1987 Book of Questions has appeared in the 2013 Book of Questions… there’s a slight difference in the question though.

In the 1987 book you say “good-bye” twice to kill them and in this book you only say it once.

So what this shows is that between 1987 and 2013 we became significantly more brutal and care free because we could get angry and think of someone dying and say goodbye and we’d no longer have the security blanket of the second good-bye which sort of acts as a “are you sure??” feature.

Regardless of these changes my answer remains the same and if you’d like to read that then you can click here to be redirected to the post in which I’ve already answered this question!
