I’m over a week late with this post, it should have gone up last Wednesday (4/07/2013)! (Yes, I’m useless, I know!)
I just wanted to give a quick shout out and say a massive thank you to LivHome for featuring my two Alzheimer’s poems on their blog!
For those of you that don’t know, LivHome are one of America’s largest professionally led at-home senior care companies. LivHome’s mission is to enable senior citizens to remain in their homes for as long as possible.
This is something I know from first hand experience is very important, although I’ve never dealt with LivHome in relation to caring for any members of my family (they don’t work in UK) I have experienced elderly relatives wanting to remain at home. A few years ago my Ninety Two year old uncle (now deceased) wanted to remain in his home and refused to give up his independence and a company like LivHome makes that all the more possible.
If you’d like to know more about LivHome you can visit the About LivHome section of their website by clicking here.
I really just wanted to say thank you to them for featuring my poetry it really means a lot to me.
If you’d like to read their post about my poetry you can click here or alternatively if you’d just like to read my Alzheimer’s poetry you can click on the following two links, I Think I Forgot and Maybe You Remember Me.
