Premier Apartments Liverpool – Review – My Fab Weekend In Liverpool!

First of all I’d like to apologise for the delay in getting this post up, with the problems that I’ve been having with WordPress and the post editor I wasn’t able to add photos into my posts and I refuse to put this up without pictures! So I sincerely apologise to Citybase, Premier Apartments and you my readers for the delay in getting this to you but wait no more because here it is!

So a little over a month ago I spent the weekend staying in Premier Apartments in Liverpool, I was offered this opportunity thanks to my friends at Citybase who as you all know have hooked us up with an amazing apartment for SW4 weekend in London! Citybase can help you find an apartment to stay in for a long weekend, a full on holiday or just over night in an extensive list of locations.. for more information on Citybase please visit!

Anyway I went to stay in Premier Apartments in Liverpool and OH MY GOD it was amazing! The apartment block is walking distance from all of the local attractions including, Liverpool One, Matthew Street, The Met Quarter, The Echo Arena, The Empire, all of Liverpool’s best night clubs, pubs and restaurants, as well as two train stations (Lime Street & Moorfields) as well as being walking distance from the bus station as well.

Don’t be fooled though, although these apartments are in the heart of the city they’re not noisy at all, it really is the perfect place to go and relax!

We stayed in an apartment designed for two people and it was fantastic, it really was like a real apartment, it had a downstairs area that consisted of a lounge, dining room and fully furnished kitchen as well as a guest bathroom. The upstairs had a beautifully spacious bedroom with an en suite bathroom with bath / shower and a store cupboard with a washing machine in it..

I think the bedroom was my favourite room in the apartment, it had a sort of balcony that allowed you to look over the lounge / dining area and also to see out of the spectacular floor to ceiling windows that boasted some truly incredible views of the city!

The apartments come with secure underground parking and WiFi access too, the reception staff were incredibly helpful and friendly as were the night security staff.

Although we stayed in a one bedroom apartment I was lucky enough to be shown some of the two bedroom apartments and I really was impressed at how spacious they were! It’s definitely the perfect place to stay when you’re in Liverpool whether it’s just two of you or a group booking!

That’s enough talking from me though.. everyone knows the best part about holidays and weekends away is showing off your holiday snaps so lets have a look at the pictures I took of our fabulous apartment!

Let’s start upstairs in the bedroom..

As you can see I wasn’t kidding when I said the bedroom was spacious! I should add that the bed was really comfortable and I slept amazingly every night!

I loved the balcony in the room I thought that was a really unique feature..

The upstairs bathroom was really nice too, there was plenty of hot water and a heated towel rack which kept the bathroom lovely and hot. In fact the whole apartment was lovely and warm, you could control the temperature and whether the heating is on or off by yourself which was really useful as we were in a top floor apartment and obviously heat rises so it did get quite warm at times..

The night sky view from our window was amazing, we could see the iconic St Johns Beacon as well as the beautiful municipal building right on over to the Albert Dock and the Liverpool Eye / Tourist Wheel by the Echo Arena.. and if you look just right of St Johns Beacon you can make out the outline of the Anglican cathedral too, it was more visible in person, sadly it didn’t show up too well on film. I woke up in the middle of the night and looked out of the window and as lame as it sounds the view took my breath away. (When I tweeted this picture out a lot of you thought I was in London because of the clock tower that you can see in the picture, for those of you not from Liverpool that’s our municipal building, and for those of you who’ve never seen Big Ben in London it’s A LOT bigger than that.)

The downstairs area  was really light and airy, it had a TV with all of the regular channels although I didn’t actually watch any of the TV except to zap through and see what channels there were. There was a radio too that was a little confusing to figure out but worked well in the end.

As you can see from the pictures below in the daytime the bedroom was also really bright and lovely, it’s a shame it wasn’t a sunnier day when these pictures were taken but you get the idea right? 20140513-015709.jpg

This was the kitchen area, it came fully stocked with all the essential kitchen utensils, also a dishwasher and fan over and 4 ring hob. The kitchen and all of the appliances were spotlessly clean upon arrival. 20140513-015803.jpg

Really though my favourite thing about the whole apartment was definitely the view. I mean just look at it, I took this from the outdoor balcony area. 20140513-015811.jpg
