I’ve just posted my answers to QuestionThree from both the 1987 and 2013 editions of The Book Of Questions by Gregory Stock Ph.D.
Tonight’s questions were really interesting in terms of how different they were and how I once again feel that they represent how much times have changed..
The 1987 question was about unsaid things, it asked if you died tonight what would you regret not saying to people, it then goes on to question why you’ve not told them yet. To me the 1987 question has connotations of Love because I associate final words and unsaid things to generally be in relation to love and not hate. (unless you’re a bitter angry person I guess..)
But the 2013 question asks you to pick one thing to be obsessed with, sex, money, sport, food or religion. Nothing really to do with love or anything decent like being obsessed with wanting to change the world for the better. It’s all to do with greed and we live in a very greedy society now, what’s wrong with a little of everything in moderation? Why do we have to be obsessed with everything all of the time?
I’m really enjoying answering the questions and comparing the two questions as well I’m finding more and more that I’m learning things about my self and also I’m realising things about the society that we live in today and I have to say it’s not things that I like.
What do you think about it all? Comment down below or tweet me @MissCharlotteEm and tell me!
