Welcome to Blogmas Day 14!
Today I’m going to be slightly less cheery but it’s still relevant to Christmas in a way.
I just want to take a second to remind you all to spare some time for your elderly and disabled relatives, neighbours and friends this Christmas and anyone that you know is on their own, you never know how happy a quick visit from you could make somebody.
I’ve been thinking a lot today about all of the people that are going to be alone this Christmas and it just makes me so sad.
I know from experience that the holidays aren’t always a happy time, depression can kick in massively over the festive period as we’re reminded of loved ones we’ve lost or maybe as we struggle to afford Christmas and I think it’s really important if you know somebody who is alone and maybe isn’t feeling that great to just check in and see how they are like I said you don’t know what a difference that might make to somebody.
I don’t mean to preach you’re obviously free to do whatever you want but I just feel like it’d be really nice if everybody helped somebody.
Maybe I’m living in a dream world full of rainbows and people that poop glitter but it’s Christmas, it’s the time for sharing and caring and all that good stuff and I hate to think of people missing out on it.
Like I said you’re free to do what you want, I’m not preaching I’m just putting my ideas out there. I know in the past when I’ve put posts like this up I’ve always had a ton of replies from you guys telling me all of the nice stuff you’ve done and it’s always really nice to read!
I always get a bit nervous before putting these posts up because you never know how they’ll go down but I just feel like it’s important especially because I’ve been blogging so much about all of the family fun I’ve been having to remember that there are people out there that are alone this Christmas and it would be nice to spend a little bit of time with them, I mean 60,000 of you read my blog each week, imagine if every one of you went to see one person that was alone or vulnerable this Christmas, that’d be 60,000 people that have been helped, it’s a lot of people.
Ah I don’t know I’m rambling now, I probably should have just bought a pug and written about that instead or something..
I love you all millions and I hope that where ever you and what ever you do you have a lovely Christmas! If you are going to be alone on Christmas Day and over the Christmas / New Years period I will still be replying to emails on Charlotte-Emily.HereForYou@Outlook.com so if you need somebody to talk to feel free to email me and as always if I can’t help you I’ll find somebody who can!
