If a new medicine were developed that would cure arthritis but cause a fatal reaction in 1 percent of those who took it, would you want it to be released to the public?
Yes, when you consider how many people in the world have arthritis 1% really probably isn’t that many at all.. as long as people know the risks I don’t see the harm. It would be wrong to release it and not tell people of the potential implications but if you tell them they might die and they choose to take it then it’s their choice and that’s fine.
Having seen people suffer terribly over extended periods of time with arthritis I know how horrendous it can be and how these people would do anything to make their pain go away, why shouldn’t they all be given a chance like this?
Then again if they just legalized cannabis they wouldn’t need to release a drug that will kill 1% of people that take it.. Cannabis wouldn’t kill any of them!
