Since I’ve been really enjoying blogging again lately I’ve been thinking about starting a few regular or series posts off.
I’m sure you’ve all seen by now that I’ve started doing the 100 Days of Happiness posts again which if you don’t know means that I’ll be putting one post up every day for 100 days talking about what’s made me happy that day. It’s more for my own posterity more than anything but I like hearing back from you all on what’s made you happy too.
I’ve also started my ABGT150 countdown which means that once a week I’ll be posting about the latest Above & Beyond Group Therapy podcast, giving you a run-down of my favourite tracks and just generally spreading some ABGT love as I count down week by week to ABGT150.
But I want to do some more regular posts too because I think I’ve decided that I like the stability of knowing that there’s a few posts that are definitely going up on certain days. It doesn’t matter what happens for the rest of the time but on these days there’s definitely going to be these types of posts.
So here’s what I’m going to do, in addition to the posts I’ve just told you about I’m going to start something that I’m going to call Music Monday’s where I’ll finally be showing you around my ever growing record collection. I’ll tell you more about this on Monday though when I’ve worked out the finer details.
I also thought that it might be kind of fun to do a weekly round up post where I talk about the stuff that’s been going on in my life that week as well as maybe my favourite blog posts by other people from that week, favourite YouTube videos, favourite none Above & Beyond podcast and more.
This is what I’m planning at the moment, I’m going to comit to testing these out and seeing how well they all go down and then if it all goes well then I guess they’ll become a permanent fixture on the blog.
I’ve been quite lazy with my blogging over the last few months for one reason and another and I feel like putting a little bit of a schedule in place is going to help me get back in to things.
I’m sure a lot of you have fallen off your chairs in suprise over me actually setting up some sort of routine for this generally unorganised blog of mine but hey it’s nothing to strict and I don’t feel like it’s all that unrealistic either!
I’ve really started enjoying blogging again and I hope to keep the enjoyment going again because this week I’ve realised how much I’ve actually missed blogging!
I promise that the second any part of the schedule stops being fun or I run out of ideas for bits of it that I’ll drop that part of it, I won’t start stretching for content and I won’t start uploading substandard posts.
Lately I keep mentioning in posts the fact that I’m taking the blog forward in a happier more positive direction and I guess you can consider the mini schedule to be part of that plan too.
