Do you think that the world will be a better or worse place 100 years from now?
I think that the world will be a more advanced place 100 years from now but I don’t necessarily think that will be a good thing. I think that 100 years from now the world will be even more consumed with greed and even less caring.
I imagine that in 100 years there will be a piece of technology for every single situation you can think of and more; I mean let’s face it that’s already happening! I hope that in 100 years we will have already found a cure for diseases like Cancer and Alzheimer’s, I’d like to hope as well that the standard of care that people in care homes, hospitals and the like receive will have improved greatly.
I dread to think about what state the environment will be in 100 years from now.. I’m going to take a scientific approach and say that I think the environment will be completely fucked; especially if the increase in technology increases our carbon footprint.
Mass consumerism and a need to be in control of everything and everyone is already taking over our lives and that’s why I think that 100 years from now the world is going to be a very ugly place to live indeed!
But then again, I could be completely wrong and maybe the world will have a complete change of heart in the next 100 years, maybe the planet will be completely environmentally friendly and everyone will be nice and not consumed with greed.
